About Me

My name is Virginia Schenk. I grew up in a small town in Huron County, Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am new to this, so we will grow together!

I am: a lover of good food, a gardener, a lawyer, a girlfriend wife, a daughter, a sister, a mother (to a sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Raleigh), a singer (in my shower), a traveler, a writer, an activist, a poet, a friend. I will use this blog to muse about my favourite things: recipes, restaurants, ingredients, my dog, gardening, travel, the loves of my life. After living in Toronto for ten years, I have left the rush of the city to return to my rural roots, in search of a life that affords me the time to pursue happiness!
